Why should you make a guest post for Engineer on tour?
First of all, I want to stress that I promote guest posts in the same way I promote my own. I have been running my blog for a few years and plan on continuing lifetime. I constantly reach new audiences and promote your content. Guest post on my website is a good investment in your blog’s success.
If a guest post goes well, I can translate it into the Russian language. It would double the number of links to your blog and would introduce it to a new audience.
Guest post topics
My blog is primarily about three things: Best of Europe, Life in Finland, Travel photography. At the moment, I accept the following topics:
- Your best experience in Europe. A post about a single place or experience in Europe. You have to convince the reader that it is one of the best things to do. (“X touristy things to do” posts are not accepted)
- Europe like a local. A local’s viewpoint on things to do in a city. You may tell about single or several places. You have to open something new for the reader. (If it is a list, it must not repeat Tripadvisor and regular tour guides)
- Posts about Finland. Half of my blog posts are about Finland and are primarily related to expat life and travel. I specialize in Finland and I accept a wide range of topics. Please don’t repeat the existing blog posts about Finland.
- Travel photography. If you are a professional photographer, who does travel photography fully or partially – I would like you to share your experience. Details about stock photo sales, finding assignments, promoting your work, taking part in exhibitions are especially valuable.
- Other. As I have mentioned, my blog is primarily about 3 things: Travel Europe, Life in Finland, Travel photography. I can also consider travel gear reviews, camera reviews, travel startups, day trips out of Europe, the Asian part of Russia. Feel free to suggest your own topic, I am open for discussion.
